Haystax Technology Expands Leadership Team

Names new executives in product strategy and federal systems business

McLean, VAJanuary 14, 2014 – Haystax Technology, Inc. announced today that it has expanded its leadership team to meet growth demand for secure, cloud-based solutions. Jaffrey W. Ali has joined the company as Vice President, Marketing & Product Strategy, with responsibility for leading the company’s corporate communications, marketing and product development teams and providing strategic direction for successful software and services delivery. Marianne Meins has been named President, Federal Systems. In this new role, Meins will lead the team tasked with deploying cloud-based solutions that offer advanced application development, secure collaboration, infrastructure management and identity management to federal government agencies. “We are pleased to welcome two new individuals who bring great breadth of experience, skill sets and business acumen,” said Haystax Technology CEO William Van Vleet III. “The insights from Jaffrey and Marianne will be extremely valuable in providing strategies designed to help Haystax deliver turn key solutions that address our customers’ demand for secure cloud-based solutions in both the government and commercial sectors. We are very pleased to welcome them both and look forward to their collective contributions.” Prior to joining Haystax, Mr. Ali served as vice president of Product Management and Marketing at Spring Mobile Solutions, a SaaS startup, where he led global product management and marketing. Before joining Spring Mobile, Mr. Ali was a product manager at Centrifuge and a pre-IPO product manager at MicroStrategy, where he was recognized as a company MVP for his contributions to the release of the first enterprise business intelligence platform built for the Web. Mr. Ali earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Meins joins Haystax from Agilex, where she was president of the company’s Intel/Defense Sector business with overall responsibility for the company’s business operations supporting the defense and intelligence communities. Prior to Agilex, Ms. Meins served as senior vice president for National Security Initiatives at Secure Mission Solutions and as vice president and general manager for the company’s Systems Engineering and Security Sector business. There she was charged with expanding the company’s customer profile and achieving accelerated growth with new business development across its six operating business units. Ms. Meins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Math/Scientific Programming from the University of California at San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science with doctoral studies in Computer Science and Information Assurance at George Mason University. She currently serves as an Executive Advisory Board Member of the Computer Game Design Program at George Mason University.
