Haystax Technology’s Constellation Analytics Platform™ has won the 2017 Cybersecurity Excellence Award in the Security Analytics product category.

The excellence awards are an annual competition honoring individuals, products and companies that demonstrate leadership, innovation and excellence in information security. Constellation received over 1,560 votes, well ahead of the 13 other finalists, which included Exabeam, Securonix, Niara, Gurucul and Cisco.

Winners were selected based on two main criteria:

  1. The strength of the nomination (demonstrated leadership, excellence and results in cybersecurity, depending on the specific category); and
  2. The popular votes and comments received from the cybersecurity community.

The nomination had a higher weight than the popular vote in determining finalists.

The Constellation Analytics Platform™ uses patented risk-management technology and a model-first approach that leverages artificial intelligence techniques to function like a team of expert analysts and predict enterprise risk. Using ‘whole person’ and other models, the platform enables security and risk professionals to have a dynamic and predictive risk posture, make quicker decisions and speed remediation for more effective protection of their critical systems, data, facilities and people.

Beyond gaining significant traction in top-tier financial institutions, Constellation has been successfully implemented in the nation’s largest insider threat program, and has also been deployed by the state of California for its Common Operating Picture (Cal COP) for Threat Awareness, protecting 85% of the state’s population across eight major urban areas.

“Congratulations to Haystax for winning the Security Analytics category of the 2017 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” said Holger Schulze, founder of the 350,000 member Information Security Community on LinkedIn which organizes the awards program. “With over 450 entries, the 2017 awards were highly competitive. All winners and finalists reflect the very best in leadership, excellence and innovation in today’s cybersecurity industry.”
