Haystax parent company Fishtech Group has unveiled a ground-breaking cybersecurity partnership with Chronicle, a new company that started as a stealth-mode Google R&D project, to conduct threat hunting and incident investigation.
Chronicle is owned by Google parent Alphabet and has been described as a cybersecurity ‘immune system.’ It analyzes massive amounts of telemetry data generated by client networks to detect embedded cyber-attacks.
CYDERES, Fishtech Group’s security-as-a-service division, will deliver managed detection and response services for Chronicle’s Backstory platform.
According to Fishtech founder and CEO Gary Fish, “Like Chronicle, CYDERES was built to address systemic industry challenges, including a lack of skilled security resources, a shortcoming of cohesion between point products and escalating security breaches,” Of the new partnership he said: “We’re honored and excited to begin immediately.”
