Hundreds of cybersecurity professionals descended upon Monterey, CA last week for the second annual Insider Threat Summit to discuss personnel security issues including cyber security challenges and capabilities, continuous evaluation of privileged identities and ethical physical security considerations. Among the featured speakers was Haystax CEO Bryan Ware, who gave a well-attended talk about the whole person approach to insider threat. This approach blends data from a variety of sources and identifies high risk personnel, based on data applied to a quantitative model, before derogatory actions take place.
