Bryan is a pioneer in the development and application of analytic methods and software for enterprise risk management, high consequence/low probability events, critical infrastructure protection and cyber risks. He was previously the co-founder of Digital Sandbox, Inc., a venture-backed provider of security risk analytics and intelligence fusion products that was acquired by Haystax in 2013. Bryan holds multiple patents for advanced analytics and has advised senior government officials on critical risk matters for several years. Bryan began his early career developing automated target recognition algorithms for UAVs and designing optical systems for the “Star Wars” program. He holds a BS in Applied Optics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Andrew is responsible for all activities related to the company’s finances, as well as management of administrative, legal, tax, treasury and accounting concerns. He has over two decades of financial and operational experience in start-ups and new initiatives, including serving in similar positions in a number of other technology companies. He has raised venture funding, worked through successful company exits and post-acquisition integrations, and has extensive experience in intellectual property issues. Andrew earned his MBA from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College.
Chriss has over 19 years of software industry experience in development, product management sales and marketing. Previously Chriss was at IBM, where he was a Worldwide Business Development Manager responsible for market strategy and sales of Smarter Cities solutions. Prior to IBM, he was VP of Market Strategy and Product Marketing for i2 Group, which was acquired by IBM and became IBM’s Safer Planet Analytics business. Chriss holds a BS in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
Pete leads Haystax Technology’s field operations organization, which includes the sales, partnerships and customer success teams, employing both direct and indirect go-to-market approaches. He brings more than 20 years of global enterprise software experience to the Haystax team, including executive leadership positions at InfoVista, Telarix and, most recently, Cyren. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Marketing from Penn State University.
Rob drives Haystax's technology roadmap and coordinates the efforts of our R&D, product and field engineering teams to implement new technology, features and capabilities into the company’s products. He brings more than 18 years of experience in building, deploying and supporting advanced analytic products for large and mission-critical enterprises. Rob holds a Masters in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Michael leads the development team responsible for the software created at Haystax Technology. He has over 18 years of professional software development experience, ranging from 3D graphics rendering, analytics work and mobile app development to full-stack web application development and operations. Michael has a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
Joi leads Haystax Technology's HR department. She is responsible for setting strategic direction and managing all team-related services, policies and programs, with the goal of fostering an environment in which the company and its people are positioned to excel together. Prior to joining Haystax, Joi headed the human resources department at a Virginia-based consulting firm. She has also worked in a variety of HR roles for a West Coast ERP software start-up and a business advisory consultancy. Joi holds an MBA in Human Capital Management from Golden Gate University and a BS in Advertising from the University of Colorado. She also earned Paralegal Certification from UCLA's respected AATP Program.
Tom has over 20 years of consulting and project management experience in commercial and government sectors with a focus on strategy and strategic planning, data analytics and modeling, and operations improvement. His specialties include managing the deployment of security analytics products, the design and implementation of insider threat programs and overseeing large accounts and developing new business opportunities. Tom was a consultant with major firms such as McKinsey & Company and KPMG, leading engagements across multiple industries and sectors, including energy, financial services, media/telecommunications and the Department of Defense. Tom holds a BA in Economics from Connecticut College and an MA in International Economic Policy from American University’s School of International Service.
Susan deploys and supports Haystax Technology's converged-security solutions with public- and private-sector clients, including a leading statewide risk management program and situational awareness solutions for large-scale events. She has over 17 years of consulting and industry experience, including more than a decade supporting DHS policy and program development. Susan holds a Masters in Forensic Sciences with a concentration in Security Management and a BA in Psychology from The George Washington University. She is also a PMI-Certified Project Management Professional.
Jaffrey brings more than 19 years of operating experience in technology companies, developing and scaling a wide array of products and businesses. He has significant experience with early-stage companies, having led product management, product strategy and marketing for four different Red Herring Top 100 award-winning companies and four Gartner Cool Vendors/Visionaries/Leaders quadrant product lines. Jaffrey graduated with a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts with Special Honors in Economics from the University of Texas in Austin.
