Together with the broader Haystax family, they have built one of the world’s most advanced security analytics platforms, as well as award-winning incident management applications, helping public- and private-sector clients to gain a deep understanding of their risks and inform their mitigation and response activities.
Gary’s focus is to set strategy, assemble top talent, point the team in the right direction and let them do what they do best. Gary has over two decades of experience as an entrepreneur, technologist and CEO in the cybersecurity space. In his career he has bought and sold over a dozen companies and established himself as a thought leader in his space. Gary founded and built FishNet Security, the largest cybersecurity integrator in the world, and he also founded FireMon, the first software company focused on firewall policy orchestration. Gary graduated from DeVry University and was a proud member of the US Army National Guard.
Pete is responsible for executing on corporate strategy and leading Haystax Technology’s commercial, technical and operational teams. He brings to Haystax over 20 years of global software experience in driving customer success, revenue, profitability and enterprise value through a collaborative and disciplined framework. His prior experience includes executive leadership positions at InfoVista, Telarix and, most recently, Cyren. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Marketing from Penn State University.
Rob drives Haystax's technology roadmap and coordinates the efforts of our R&D, product and field engineering teams to implement new technology, features and capabilities into the company’s products. He brings more than 18 years of experience in building, deploying and supporting advanced analytic products for large and mission-critical enterprises. Rob holds a Masters in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Andrew is responsible for all activities related to the company’s finances, as well as management of administrative, legal, tax, treasury and accounting concerns. He has over two decades of financial and operational experience in start-ups and new initiatives, including serving in similar positions in a number of other technology companies. He has raised venture funding, worked through successful company exits and post-acquisition integrations, and has extensive experience in intellectual property issues. Andrew earned his MBA from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College.
Michael leads the development team responsible for the software created at Haystax Technology. He has over 18 years of professional software development experience, ranging from 3D graphics rendering, analytics work and mobile app development to full-stack web application development and operations. Michael has a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
Joe leads go-to-market and sales strategy across Haystax Technology's major lines of business for both enterprise and public sectors. His 25-year career includes key roles in high-tech startups and growth plays in highly competitive and rapidly evolving industries. Joe’s specialties include understanding key customer-side business drivers, supporting adoption of new technologies, launching and tuning expert systems and transforming ideas into actionable plans with quantifiable benefits. Joe holds a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Tom is responsible for supporting the deployment of, and customer satisfaction with, Haystax Technology's Constellation user behavior analytics (UBA) solution for insider threat, personnel security and other use cases. Tom has over 20 years of consulting and project management experience in commercial and government sectors with a focus on strategy and strategic planning, data analytics and modeling and operations improvement. Tom was previously a consultant with firms like McKinsey & Co and KPMG, leading engagements across multiple industries and sectors including energy, financial services, media/telecommunications and the Department of Defense. Tom holds a BA in Economics from Connecticut College and an MA in International Economic Policy from American University’s School of International Service.
Susan deploys and supports Haystax Technology's Safety & Security solutions with public- and private-sector clients, including a leading statewide risk management program and situational awareness solutions for large-scale events. She has over 18 years of consulting and industry experience, including more than a decade supporting DHS policy and program development. Susan holds a Masters in Forensic Sciences with a concentration in Security Management and a BA in Psychology from The George Washington University. She is also a PMI-Certified Project Management Professional.
